The NYSAA was fortunate to have professional real estate auctioneer and estate specialist Chris Pracht as a speaker and course instructor at our annual convention in January held in Geneva, NY. Auctioneer Chris Pracht from South Carolina has over 30 years experience in the auction profession and was a wealth of valuable information. He was the instructor for the Certified Estate Specialist (CES) designation class sponsored by the National Auctioneers Association. This class took place three days prior to the annual NYSAA convention. The estate specialist course had auctioneers in attendance from New York State, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C. and as far away as Texas. Some of the topics discussed during the class were; marketing to estate planning professionals, networking with estate professionals, legal and financial aspects of liquidating an estate, understanding the relationships of parties involved in the estate process along with marketing your auction firm to help grow your auction business.

Auctioneer and instructor Chris Pracht travels across the Unites States representing the National Auctioneers Association. He is an expert in his field and loves to share his experiences. He has networked with some of the largest auction firms in the country and stresses how these strategic alliances all stem back to the state and national associations that he has been involved in.
